Great day out with Flo (and John and Paul) on the Mary River Billabong. Fantastic wildlife on display with the prize of catching 2 magnificent wild Barra to complete one of my bucket list items. Flo was very knowledgeable about the whole area and the fishing options and I will come back!

Booking through Fishing Booker was simple and easy. Floran from Barra Private Tours was knowledgeable, on time, well equipped and super passionate to make it a great experience for myself and my 2 teenage sons. We all hooked fish and got a 66cm Barra keeper as well, even though its low season for Barra. All super pumped and great to have for lunch. I'd highly recommend Floran and Barra Private Tours.

Incredible experience for my family. We are all very novice anglers but wanted to experience fishing as a family and were blown away from start to finish about everything. It is EXACTLY as advertised but the captain made it for us. So helpful, considerate and extremely patient. We took 5 different species back home for the BBQ which were all prepared on the boat. A family memory we will have for a very long time. Thank you!!

Wow! What a morning. 3 barra in 3 hours. 65, 68 and 70cm on our first ever barra fishing adventure. Flo is amazing, high quality gear to watch the fish, secret spots and so full of knowledge about how what and where. Can not recommend Flo highly enough. If you want an experience to remember and appreciate good quality fishing gear and knowledge, absolutely dont look anywhere else. What a day, thank you so much Flo!!

What a great day …1/2 day Barra trip limited fishing window but we pulled in 7 Barra 59-69 cm in near harbour….Floran the skipper put us straight over them….constantly giving u advise and techniques to enhance our chances of catching these Barra…my brother n I fished with old mate from Adelaide sorry name evades me…and Florans wife whom photographed n video all afternoon, lovely ppl and Floran fantastic at his job…..we’ve already booked another day out with them…. So if u looking for best chance to catch fish go with Barra Private Tours …Floran n co look after you …thanks again

Highlight of a seven day holiday. Our guide had intimate knowledge of the Billabong and said the fish would be on the bit at 2pm. first Barra strike as at 1:57. His knowledge of the area was suburb, we pulled in three Barra 79cm, 79cm and 72cm, there was a fishing comp on that day so it was tough but we still caught more than most :) And just in case you have some down time, the captain is a French chef so lunch was exceptional. Fresh Barra of course :D"
